From the moment you walk through the door, you'll see that Riverside isn't like any other church you've ever seen. The people are friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed, the music is upbeat and modern, and the lessons are entertaining and relevant.
Make sure you stop by the kitchen before you sit down in the auditorium so you can get yourself a cup of coffee and a donut. If you're worried about your kids, we have snacks & activities for them so they have something to do while you enjoy the service.
If you're worried that everyone will know you're visiting... don't. Riverside has grown so much over the last few years (from 35 in 2000 to an average of 300 in 2011) that it's hard for most of us to tell the visitors from the long time attenders so you'll be able to come and check things out without being mobbed by ushers or pushy members.
Even so the atmosphere is incredibly friendly. You'll get all the help and guidance you need (just ask someone in the kitchen if you have questions) but won't be overwhelmed. You'll be able to choose your level of involvement and familiarity. But if you're like most of our visitors, you'll want to get more involved making Riverside not just a place to go to church, but also a place to make yourself at home and make friends.
Join us on Saturday at 6 PM (our least attended service... if you like a small church feel this is your service), or Sunday @ 10 AM (about twice as many people as Saturday evening service) or 11:30 AM (our most attended service) and find out for yourself.
You'll feel right at home and your kids will BEG you to come back! And when was the last time either of those happened to you at church?
